I would have to admit that I'm pretty pumped to see our 'baby grass.' For the first few months of us living in our new home, it looked like we had a creek running through our backyard every time it rained.... which was often. They finally delivered loads and loads (and loads) of dirt to level our yard out before planting some grass seed. We had an irrigation system installed last week so that has been a tremendous help in absence of cooperative weather. I've included pictures of our YIP (Yard in Progress). It's gettin' there!IN the homefront, I figured out that Adelyn LOVES craft time. We have been going out on our covered deck so she can play with play-do, moon sand, water paint, etc. What's so nice is that I can get a lot of housework done while she plays independently. It's great! I plan on looking into craft/art places in the area for her... at the very least, it'll be something to keep in the 'mommy pipeline' for the wintertime when we get cabin fever.
BTW, I think I lost my battle with Ella....
We have a wedding/reception to go to tomorrow so I'll probably have pictures to post from that later. Have a great weekend!!
